# Check your apps yourself

> With iPhone’s App Privacy Report. Markdown copy of https://kuuko.app/learn/check-your-apps-yourself/ for agents; the HTML page is the source. Facts checked 28 October 2026. Part of Kuuko's Learn articles, the same as in the app.

Your iPhone can record which apps contacted which addresses. Apple calls this App Privacy Report.

On Mac:
App Privacy Report is on iPhone and iPad. Apple’s page doesn’t mention the Mac.

1. **Switch it on.** Open Settings › Privacy & Security › App Privacy Report and tap Turn on App Privacy Report.
2. **Use your apps as usual.** The report collects the last 7 days.
3. **Look at App Network Activity.** For each app it lists the addresses the app contacted, directly or through content inside the app.

> **It stays on your iPhone.** Apple says the report is encrypted and stored only on your device. Switching it off clears it.

## What to look for

- An app that contacts many tracking or ad addresses. Kuuko blocks the names on its lists, so they can’t load.
- A plain number instead of a name. In our test, that’s how the Instagram app reached Meta while Kuuko blocked the names. [What Kuuko can’t block](https://kuuko.app/learn/what-kuuko-cant-block/)

*Apple’s page describes the report but doesn’t say what a number without a name means. That part is from our own test, on 25 October 2026.*
